National Geographic Adventure Magazine Calls it a Day
Friday, December 4th, 2009The (just-over) 10-year-old National Geographic Adventure magazine is to stop printing, the company has stated.
Whilst the print lines will shut down, the online success of the magazine will continue in the form of e-magazines, mobile applications and an even more (!) robust website.
Rumours over the large corporation trying to sell off it’s outdoor magazine started some time ago. This followed speculation by industry reporters that the publication hadn’t been making the sales required to keep the 17 New York-based staff employed in it’s current state.
